Current Connector Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 20, 2026
Current Connector is operated by O3 Innovations Group LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”). This policy explains how we handle personal information through the Current Connector website, mobile apps, and related services. Current Connector helps companies and workers manage projects, staffing, labor sharing, time entries, and business records.
For privacy questions or requests, contact ryanstein@o3innovations.com with the subject “Current Connector privacy request.”
Information we collect
Account and profile information. We collect information you or an authorized company provides, such as your name, email, phone number, profile photo, address, account identifiers, company memberships, trade, skills, licenses, certifications, work experience, availability, and preferences. If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive the identity information that provider makes available, such as an account identifier, name, email address, and profile picture. Apple may provide a private relay email address. We do not receive your Google or Apple password.
Work and company records. Companies and workers can provide project and site details, schedules, assignments, time entries, attendance, leave information, rates, payroll and invoice records, agreements and signatures, ratings, work history, safety and daily reports, messages, and uploaded files. Financial records can include bank account and routing details provided for direct deposit, pay rates, payroll information, and invoice or payment records. Workplace health information can include an injury yes/no response and any injury description submitted during timekeeping or safety reporting. Company records can include business contacts, addresses, tax identifiers, licenses, insurance, and compliance documents. Please provide only information needed for the feature you are using.
Location. With your device permission, the mobile app obtains precise location for supported timekeeping features. It uses a location reading when you clock in and can record additional readings approximately once per minute while an active time entry’s location feature is running in the foreground. Records can include coordinates, accuracy, timestamps, and the result of a check against the project’s permitted work area. Unsuccessful clock-in attempts can also be recorded. We also process addresses, project coordinates, and location preferences supplied by you or your company for maps, staffing, distance calculations, and weather. This mobile release requests foreground location permission; it does not request permission for continuous background location collection. You can change permission in your device settings. Some location-dependent features may then be unavailable.
Photos, files, and device information. When you choose to take or upload a photo or select a document, we process that content for the requested feature. We use device notification tokens to deliver push notifications you permit. Our services and hosting providers also process technical information needed to operate and protect the service, such as IP addresses, browser or device information, request records, and error information.
How we use information
We use information to create and secure accounts; verify identity and contact details; manage company access; support projects, staffing, timekeeping, agreements, and billing records; deliver messages and notifications; provide maps and weather; respond to support requests; investigate errors, misuse, or disputes; and meet applicable recordkeeping obligations.
Some optional assistance features use OpenAI to process the information needed for that feature. Before a supported AI request sends information to OpenAI, the app explains the transfer and asks for your permission. You can decline and continue using non-AI features. Examples include estimates based on project or takeoff material, scheduling suggestions, safety-plan content, and staffing recommendations. Inputs can include selected files, work requirements, project information, or derived worker qualifications. Outputs and associated run records may be saved in Current Connector. AI suggestions can be incomplete or incorrect and should be checked before use. You can report harmful or inappropriate AI output in the app. Reports can include the selected output and related context so we can investigate.
We do not sell personal information or use it for cross-app behavioral advertising. We do not request access to your Google Drive, Gmail messages, or Apple account content merely because you use Google or Apple sign-in.
Who can receive information
People and companies using the service. Information is made available according to your role, company relationships, feature settings, and sharing actions. Your employer or sponsoring company and authorized managers can access relevant workforce and business records. A borrowing company can access information needed to manage a labor arrangement. Timekeeping location records can be available to the worker, authorized work-company managers, the sponsoring company, and platform administrators. Message participants receive the messages you send. A user who shares a report or document can make it available to the selected recipients, including people outside the company.
Worker privacy settings control supported marketplace and profile visibility, including discoverability and selected contact, credential, rating, and work-history fields. These settings do not remove information from required company operational records, existing messages, agreements, timekeeping records, or copies already received by others.
Service providers. We use providers to host and secure the service, store data and files, authenticate users, and deliver features. These include Supabase, Railway, and Vercel for infrastructure; Apple and Google for the sign-in methods you select; Expo and device-platform services for push delivery; Resend and Twilio for configured email and text-message delivery; OpenAI for supported AI assistance; and mapping or weather services such as OpenStreetMap/Nominatim, Open-Meteo, or OpenWeather where those features are used. Providers receive the information needed for their function. Maps, weather, and AI requests may include relevant coordinates, addresses, or feature content. Provider availability depends on the feature and service configuration.
Other disclosures. We may disclose relevant information when required by law, to protect people or the service, to investigate misuse or disputes, or as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, or transfer of the business subject to appropriate protections.
Safety reports and blocks. We process reports about messages, users, and AI output, including the reported content, account identifiers, reason, and review history, to investigate misuse and enforce our terms. Blocking records help enforce your messaging choices. Platform operators can access the relevant material for this purpose.
Storage, security, and retention
We use access controls and technical safeguards intended to protect information. No system can guarantee complete security. Information may be processed in the United States and other locations where our providers operate.
We retain information for the purposes described in this policy, including operating accounts, maintaining company records, resolving disputes, protecting the service, and meeting legal obligations. Retention depends on the type of record and the reason it is held. Company employment, payroll, tax, invoice, signed-agreement, safety, audit, and business correspondence records may need to remain after an account is closed. These retained records can include your identity where needed to preserve the record. Deleting your account removes your personal vault files and private credentials, including personal onboarding and banking documents held there; it does not erase copies that form part of a company’s retained employment or business records. Backup copies may persist until the applicable backup cycle ends. We do not promise a single deletion period for every record.
Your choices and requests
You can update supported profile fields and privacy preferences in the app, change device permissions, and manage available notification preferences. Account and security notices may still be necessary to operate the service.
To request account deletion, use the account-deletion option in app settings or visit Delete your Current Connector account. We aim to complete verified deletion requests within 30 days. We remove your sign-in account, personal profile, private profile pictures, personal vault files and private credentials, device tokens, and notification preferences. We explain any records retained for legitimate business, legal, security, or dispute purposes. Deletion does not automatically erase employment records held by a company, records shared with others, or required financial and audit records. To request access, correction, a copy of your information, or help with deletion, email ryanstein@o3innovations.com. Identify the Current Connector account involved, but do not send a password or identity document with your initial request. We may need to verify your identity and authority. We will explain if information must be retained or if a request must be handled with your employer or another company that controls the relevant records. Removing a company membership or uninstalling the app is not the same as deleting an account. Rights and exceptions can vary by location.
Companies may independently decide how they use workforce information. Contact the company as well as us if your request concerns its employment, payroll, or other business records.
Children
Current Connector is designed for business and workforce use, not for children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information through the service.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as the service or our practices change. We will update the effective date and provide additional notice when appropriate. Questions and requests can be sent to ryanstein@o3innovations.com.
