One week you're overstaffed. The next you're turning work away.
Electrical work comes in waves. Projects finish early, permits stall, a big bid lands all at once. The crews you fought to hire become the payroll you can't carry — until the next surge leaves you scrambling for hands.
Without a network
- Skilled electricians idle on the bench between jobs

- Paper handshakes with no record of who agreed to what
With Current Connector
- Loan idle crews to nearby contractors and keep them earning
- Borrow vetted electricians the day you need them
- Take on bigger jobs without permanent headcount risk
- See real reputation and verified credentials before you commit
- Every loan backed by a signed digital agreement
With Current Connector, sharing labor is easy
From the first match to the final invoice — every step of a loan, in one place.
Find a vetted crew
Search loanable electricians by trade, license, and distance — reputation and credentials up front.
Browse the marketplaceSign before work starts
Every loan is a signed agreement — liability, workers' comp, and scope settled before a boot hits the ground.
How agreements workDispatch & track
Assign borrowed crews to a project, map the site, and watch staffing fill in real time.
See dispatchBill from approved hours
Approved hours roll straight into an invoice between the two companies — no cash on the job site.
See billingThe parts that make sharing labor safe to do.
Credentials, agreements, and coverage — handled, so a handshake between two contractors actually holds up.
Sponsorship & worker-owned profiles
Every electrician owns one portable profile. Sponsoring companies vouch for their crew, and the worker's record travels with them — no re-proving skills on every job.
Labor marketplace
Post the crews you can spare or the help you need. Filter by skill, license class, location, and availability — and match with contractors you can trust.
Dispatch & assignments
Assign loaned electricians to projects, track who's on which site, and keep the borrowing super and sponsoring office in sync — in real time.
Reputation & verified credentials
Ratings come from the companies that actually worked with a crew. Licenses and certifications are verified once and trusted everywhere on the network.
Digital agreements & e-sign
Loan terms, rates, and responsibilities are captured in a signed agreement before work starts — server-stamped and stored, so there's never a dispute over the handshake.
Insurance-verified companies
Only companies with confirmed liability and workers' comp coverage can loan or borrow. You know everyone on the network carries real protection.
Free, while we build it with you.
Current Connector is in open beta — the whole platform is free, no fees and no card. We're building it shoulder to shoulder with the contractors using it, so the crews who get in early help shape what it becomes.

Answers before you ask.
Who has to carry insurance — and when is it checked?
Both sides of a loan — the company lending and the company borrowing — must carry platform-verified workers' comp and general liability. Coverage is checked the moment a loan is created, not just at signup. No verified coverage, no access.
Who employs the electrician on loan? Do I take on their payroll?
The sponsoring company stays the employer of record the entire time — payroll, taxes, and comp don't move. The borrower pays the sponsor a negotiated bill rate; you never add their electrician to your own payroll or W-2.
How does payment work — does Current Connector touch the money?
The lender generates a company-to-company invoice for approved hours at the agreed rate, on their own payroll schedule. It's contractor-to-contractor — no cash on the job site — with a small platform fee on the invoice. The worker's pay stays between them and their sponsor.
Do my electricians have to sign up themselves?
You invite your crew and fill in the employment side — role, certs, loanable status — then they claim the account and add their own details. The profile is portable: it travels with the electrician across jobs, while you keep the employment-side fields and the certs you've verified.
How are workers vetted — and can ratings be gamed?
Certifications are uploaded and verified by the sponsoring company (workers can't self-grant credentials), and a cert's status is computed live against its expiration. Ratings are capped to one score per company, per worker, per dimension — re-rating replaces, never stacks — so reviews can't be inflated.
Is the digital agreement actually legally meaningful?
Every loan produces real signature records in an append-only ledger — the server stamps the signer's verified ID, a UTC timestamp, a SHA-256 hash of the exact terms shown, plus IP and device. Both the lender and the worker sign separately, and none of those fields can be faked by the client.
Can my electrician decline a loan?
Yes. Every loan is a three-way handshake — the borrower requests, you approve, the worker accepts or declines — so no one is placed without their consent. Set a standing floor rate and requests at or above it go straight to the worker; anything below comes to you to approve or counter.
What happens if there's a dispute — hours, a no-show, or poaching?
There's a structured dispute system tied to the specific agreement or time entry — covering hours, attendance, performance, payment, and no-poach violations. Either side (or the worker) can raise one, and Current Connector's team adjudicates with a written outcome.
